After the relaunch
Hertha BSC Berlin
The latest club news, everything about matchday and the highlights afterwards: with the Hertha BSC app, fans of the Old Lady always have their club with them. We took over the existing iOS and Android apps and redesigned them from the ground up, so they feel made for true Hertha fans.
A facelift would not have been enough. We rebuilt the interface and the user experience completely and focused the app on what fans actually use. The news section is clearer, matchdays come with detailed match information, and we rebuilt the push notification mechanics.
On top of that come two things fans love: the NetRadio right inside the app and a direct link to the online shop. We developed natively, in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android, with a design that picks up the club's tradition and pride while still feeling fresh.
The work didn't stop with the relaunch. We keep running the apps, test every new version thoroughly and ship it to the stores. Live statistics and fresh content arrive in the app in real time, so fans stay up to date between matches too.
