We started out with voice-controlled “Alexa Skills” that add new functions to intelligent language assistants such as Amazon’s Alexa or Google Assistant. Nowadays we deliver solutions for the broad spectrum of digital devices including Browser, Smartphones, Tablets, Wearables, Smart TVs or even IoT devices.

We have delivered projects for Amazon, Google, Antenne Bayern, ip.labs, Radioplayer, Sat.1 Regional or the Hamburger SV.

Javascript-Developer (m/w/d)

for Voice and Web-based Frontend Solutions

Your tasks:

As a Javascript developer you will develop existing and new solutions with Javascript and Typescript. We rely amongst other services and frameworks on next.js, Node.js, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform for backends. Nuuk partners with Google for Actions on Google and partners with Amazon for Alexa skill development. You are directly involved in the development of voice-controlled and web-based solutions for well-known brands in Germany.

Your profile:

• You know Javascript/Typescript not only in web browsers but also on the server side
• You have gained practical experience in several Javascript projects (private or commercial)
• Experience with Git, at best experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• You are curious and enjoy learning about new technologies like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant
• Ideally you have gathered your first professional experience
• Ability to speak, read and write fluidly in English. Knowledge of German, both written and spoken is a plus.
