Absolut Radio
ABSOLUT Hot via CarPlay on the morning drive, ABSOLUT Relax on the TV in the evening: for ABSOLUT Radio we built the apps that let listeners take their stations everywhere. All six stations from the national DAB+ line-up, ABSOLUT Hot, Bella, Relax, Top, Germany and Oldie Classics, sit together with the “Stream Exclusive” formats in one app for iPhone and Android.

ABSOLUT Radio could already be heard online through its own website and aggregators. The app was meant to bring this radio world to the smartphone, with every station appearing in its own look. We designed it in Figma and built it with Flutter from one codebase for iOS and Android, so new features reach both platforms with a single update.
In the car, CarPlay and Android Auto take over. Live streams, playlists and exclusive content are just a few taps away, the app loads quickly and the streams stay stable even when lots of people tune in at once. Because the app system is modular, ABSOLUT Radio can keep adding to it step by step.
We didn't stop at the smartphone. For ABSOLUT Radio we also built Smart TV apps for Tizen, webOS, Android TV and Fire TV, plus a dedicated Sonos service. That puts ABSOLUT Radio on the TV and on Sonos speakers too, with the same look as in the app.
