Radio ENERGY

K-pop with breakfast, lounge after work and the local station from Hamburg or Munich in between: the Radio ENERGY app we built for iOS and Android puts the whole “HIT MUSIC ONLY!” programme into one app. All stations, more than 25 web streams and the podcasts are just a tap away.

In Germany, Radio ENERGY broadcasts from Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Nuremberg, Stuttgart, Saxony and Bremen. The app brings these stations together and adds the web streams alongside, from RnB and 90s hits to K-pop and lounge. Once listeners have found their favourite, they can save it and get matching recommendations.

Every programme has people behind it, and the app shows them: hosts and shows get detailed profiles, along with video content. The app pulls everything in real time from Radio ENERGY's existing systems. And in the car, ENERGY keeps playing through CarPlay and Android Auto.

We designed the app and built it with Flutter from a single codebase for iOS and Android. The design picks up Radio ENERGY's brand identity and leads straight to your favourite stream, so the app feels the same on an iPhone as on Android.
