A classic from decades past on the live stream, then a podcast with stories from then and now, and in the car it all just keeps playing: for Nostalgie Radio we built an iOS and Android app that pairs retro charm with a fresh interface.

Nostalgie Radio thrives on music that brings back memories and on podcasts that bring together voices from yesterday and today. The app had to gather both in one place without feeling the least bit dusty itself. Our design picks up the station's nostalgic flair and combines it with modern elements, so the app feels familiar and new at the same time.
So the music plays wherever people listen, we built in Cast and AirPlay for speakers and smart TVs and designed the CarPlay and Android Auto interface to be safe to use while driving. Behind the scenes, we conceived and integrated the interfaces for radio stations, podcasts and usage statistics.
The app is built with Flutter from a single codebase for iOS and Android. For listeners, that means the same app on every device, whether on the go, at home or in the car.
