The project
CHILLOUT ANTENNE
End of the working day, headphones on, lounge sound up: CHILLOUT ANTENNE is the newest station of the ANTENNE BAYERN GROUP, and we got to design and develop its app. It brings ambient, lounge, downtempo, smooth beats and relaxed electronica to the phone, the car and the speaker at home.
The live stream with its big player takes centre stage. Listeners can like songs, send them to external speakers via AirPlay and drift off to the music with the sleep timer. The For You section collects the streams and songs they have favourited or subscribed to across platforms, plus weather and traffic for their location.
Everything a radio app needs day to day is still on board: breaking news, traffic updates, weather, speed camera alerts and an alarm clock. On the road it all keeps playing via CarPlay and Android Auto, and anyone who wants to reach the editorial team simply sends a voice message.
From the first wireframe to the finished app, it all came from us. The app is free on the App Store and Google Play.
